  1. I feel like Columbus will take a forward like eklund or johnson to play at center

  2. The NHL should just transfer Arizona's pick to Seattle, that would be even more of a punishment lol

  3. Good mock draft, I had some other players going to other teams— but my mock draft was close to yours (Only a couple spots up or down) my reasoning was quite similar as well. Like Clarke to Columbus for example, I thought about that because of the recent Jones ish they might lean that way.. But ended up going with the fact they need a C to replace Dubois. They‘re weak on RD even with Jones, so it can go either way with that one. I like how yours worked out in the end though, you’ve done your research. As a Vancouver fan, I’d be very happy with either Clarke or Johnson. Eklund would be a steal, but 0% chance there. lol He’s going to go top 5, imo.

    My list:
    1) Buffalo – Power
    2) Seattle – Eklund
    3) Anaheim – Beniers
    4) New Jersey – Hughes
    5) Columbus – Johnson
    6) Detroit – Edvinsson
    7) San Jose – Guenther
    8) Los Angeles – Wallstedt
    9) Vancouver – Clarke
    10) Ottawa – Mctavish
    12) Chicago – Lucius
    13) Calgary – Sillinger
    14) Philadelphia – Ceulemans
    15) Dallas – Pastujov
    16) New York – Raty

  4. Once again, it's a hard pass from me on Edvinsson. Do not want him at 6th, at all. Give me Guenther, Johnson, Eklund or Clarke. At this stage of his career he's a massive boom-or-bust prospect, and I really don't see the situational awareness to his game that would help him translate his game well at the NHL level. They absolutely need to hit on that pick, and it's a massive gamble with him. I'm hoping he's gone before 6th overall so we don't even have to worry about whether we take him and he busts, or we pass him up, and he blows up, to be honest.

  5. I haven’t even started the video yet. But if I see Hughes to the devils I’m gonna lose it! There better be a better explanation then oh well it’s jacks brother.

    Edit: Ugh 🤦‍♂️

  6. There are rumors that if the Rangers don't get Eichel, Monahan is there back up plan.

  7. It would be a magical day if GM Kevyn Adams could somehow finesse Seattle into swapping picks to take most or all of Skinner’s contract off of our hands. But I’m probably just dreaming on that. If that’s not in the cards, take the giant who can fly and make plays on the blue line. That’s Power. Don’t overthink this boys. Come on, we can’t be terrible FOREVER right?

  8. I think the Sabers take Beniers. With all the eichel rumours floating around they might look to just be done with him.

  9. I think Montreal should get Arizona draft position or NHL puts all the teams that do not have a draft in the first round draw one team and fill in the blank

  10. I have watched Cole Sillinger a bunch here in Medicine Hat. I hope the Canucks take him to fill out their wings.

  11. Wish Detroit would take the flyer on Wallstedt. We're pretty far out from anything close to an NHL ready goalie prospect (in my personal opinion, bare in mind) and seeing the team Yzerman was able to build with Vasilevskiy in net, I feel like its an important piece to the rebuild. That said, I'm happy with whoever they decide on, it doesn't really matter, they'll get someone great.

  12. I'm not sure I see another d-man going to Detroit right now, in fact I might see Yzerman picking wallstedt. Possibly a forward. I like Detroits current set of defensive prospects and don't see as much of a need to get one.

  13. The more I look at this draft class, the more I see Kent Johnson or Mason MacTavish going to the Canucks – and that's a really good thing. To me, Johnson is the better pick, but that's not a knock against MacTavish. He could be that really big top 2 centre that can score goals in the NHL. But where the Canucks are right now, I think it's Johnson if he's available. He's a centre who can play wing and he's dynamic. If we can nab another "Elias Pettersson" in this draft, we've done an excellent job in my view. Let's just hope he's a little more of a gentleman with the ladies than the last guy we drafted from Vancouver was. Wow. I don't know why we do it, guys – to the ladies and to ourselves.

  14. Really like these picks! Something I would have mentioned is that Vancouver apparently really likes McTavish and may take him
