   Nino is a middle 6 winger who primarily scores in front of the goalie. He’s a goal scorer who doesn’t create plays.

   Considering he was a UFA when we signed him a 2nd is a solid return.

   This trade is terrible value. This is value I’d expect to get if there wasn’t another year on the deal. There is, so the Predators should be getting more for it. The bottom line is that this is a sellers market. The amount solid scoring forwards left on the market is dwindling. The Predators took a situation that should be adventagous and scuffed it.

    Also worth considering: Preds now how $10m in cap space with up to $18m if they flip Joey to LTIR.

    That’s plenty of room to, say, take on Patrick Kanes salary in exchange for picks from the Rags.
