This stuff is NOT GOOD for the NBA. It definitely diminishes, and shines a light on Lebron’s scoring title. The NBA has been like this for most of his career. Playing defense equates to waiting on the other team to score. It’s a joke. And the ratings show this.
unpopular opinion but this high of a score is not a good thing… low scoring games means either horrible shooting or they were actually playing defense. Whole lot of uncontested shots and straight drives to the hoop in this game.

i saw russ setting the pace, but lacked defense fs… yeah you deserve to take it easy back after a full pressed layup but this clippers team is full of two-way stars! i think if russ would have focused his energy on defense more then burning himself out with all the drives to the rim, we would have definitely won this game; i’m not saying he’s not a bucket… i would just love to see him take the ball away from the opposing team on d and use his speed to drive the ball to the rim alone!
