I can't imagine him having any kind of impact, i dont even honestly think they picked him up for Montreal, i am thinking it might be more for Laval, they are thinning out the more injuries we get, which sure r piling up! I agree that this waiver claim wont do much for the Habs for the balance of this season. Im sure Florida tried to trade him before making this move, but obviously nobody took the bait. He will fill a roster spot til the end of the season, unless some contending team runs into a bunch of injuries before the trade deadline and needs a warm body at C. Who knows….maybe we could get a 5th round pick for him…anywho…Welcome to Montreal, Chris.

Could be added trade bait throw in, assuming the acquiring team can work out a deal. His Cap Hit is $750K, so it's the minimum. Only upside with this acquisition. Front office has their act together. How about the Cup in 25-26?

Tierney, either sending someone back to Laval, or maybe there's a Dadonov or Drouin move lurking…they're just grabbing a fill in for the rest of the season. He's listed as #71 so him and Evans are gonna have to duke it out for the number.
