  1. Kudos to the 3 GM's for having rhe creativity to make this deal a reality. No way he is your third line center though. Tavares is now yeah?

  2. Great, Leafs getting another aging star on the decline of their career and that is going to be a UFA next year. All our problems are solved!

  3. Acciari has been a fore check monster for the blues. Very hard working, wins all sorts of puck battles and seemingly finishes every check. He was the perfect 4th line center and I hope Toronto uses him that way. Wanted robo or nyes to come to stl. Idk how dubas didn't have to but congrats.

  4. Haha no we tapped the video because we want to see if you hate this trade as the rest of us do. OReilly can not score like Meier is capable of, not even close. I would rather pay more for Meier alone then what they paid for this trade. D- trade

  5. Seeing that we still have this year’s second, next years first and our prospects I still think the leafs will get timo as well

  6. Can't wait for this trade tree. Will be one of the biggest since there are so many moving pieces still in play. Also Toronto looks scary down the middle. Wouldn't be surprised if they finally figure it out this year. Plenty of time for ROR and Acciari to meld with new teammates.

  7. LUV the dog!! GREAT trade imho, bringing in a leader/conn smythe winner and both guys are sandpaper guys…..lets see how they fit in!

  8. Bad Trade Trade Back on Sundays & Wednesday Night The Vegas Golden Knights Have Acquired Ryan O'Reilly Dubas is Fired Now on Tuesdays Nights

  9. I dont understand why he got a center when they need a top 6 winger and a top 4 defenseman. It's a fantastic deal but don't get it

  10. One & Done !!! Leafs are going nowhere! 19 points and a minus 24 … 32 years of age and on the downside of his career!
Leaf fans keep drinking the Kool Aid !!! They can’t beat Boston or Tampa and will most likely lose home ice advantage!

  11. I would now like to see Dubas go after Gavrikov from the Blue Jackets to help the depth on the backend.

  12. The Canadian National soccer team will win The World Cup before the Leafs win another Stanley Cup. Once again trading away the future for aging rental player that they'll trade later for a bag of pucks. At least the Leafs' management have been consistent over the decades.

  13. I'm only going to listen to Jesse from now on for bets. He called this weeks ago.

  14. A good trade should benefit both teams. Armstrong feels his team needs a reboot & obviously decided to start it now in a sub-par season. With this trade he has 3 picks in the 1st round of what is viewed to be a deep draft. He would have had to overpay O'Reilly to extend him & if he walked as a ufa he gets nothing for a well regarded player. Unless Dubas can extend him, he can be re-signed in the off-season. Same with Acciari. Dubas has decided these are the physical, defensive minded, hard to play against guys, who have offensive chops, that the Leafs need more of, so giving up draft picks, but no premium prospects feels like a win win to me. There are Dubas haters who will disparage this deal, but they would be in the minority. I've always liked both players, a lot & the Leafs are now a better team.
