  1. Miller is not being traded, if we got a good return im all for it but i dont believe the offers will be good enough to be honest

  2. Make Schenn the captain as he has the shoulders and the experience to deal with the media. That way Petterson and Hughes can focus on being team leaders without all of the relentless headaches of dealing with the media.

  3. Why can't you retain. What are you hurting by keeping 1.65 million? The Canucks won't be competitive next year. Freeing up 5 million in space and getting assets I just don't understand this you can't retain. It's only for 2 years. Surely Allvin can maneuver around a 2% cap loss. If he can't he should be fired.

  4. Miller is worth his a contract, he has value for a team who wants contract control… the cap will be going up and the pain is always at the end for these contracts nothing new as teams continue to give them out all the time … this guy is a Debbie downer ( typical Van city media )

  5. Well they got a 1st, a good player and a pretty good prospect for Horvat so a 1st for Miller doesn't seem unreasonable

  6. Very good player, bad contract. We need good players on great contracts. Keeping all the same guys as they age and get more expensive means steady decline as you have to move other players to make room. Love the Mundy Park reference.

  7. Hasn’t anybody realized that if things really get bad and Miller is still productive he could always waive his no move clause? It’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t get traded now

  8. (constructive criticism) …This guest needs some practice speaking in front of a mirror………SPIT IT OUT!!! so painful to listen to…….

  9. I think that 99 point season really put stars in the eyes of the management group. I believe they were really hoping that two 100 point forwards, with Demko and Hughes was the key to the teams future Stanley Cup dreams and they didn't think Bo Horvat was going to be the guy to get them there. I think now we know that was probably wrong and that Bo just keeps defying his supposed ceilings. But one thing we forget is that Bo and JT played a lot together. A good chunk of Horvat's goal scoring success has come because of Miller being his line mate. Now that Bo's in NY and he's not going to have Barzal either lets see how much scoring Horvat does compared to oh say Anthony Beauvillier ! Just saying its not all one or the other on this team. Miller is going to keep producing without Horvat but will Horvat ?

  10. The most boring and ambiguous person to interview, in the Vancouver Sports World, is Patrick Johnston, it's not even close…can he say anything of note, like, ever?…
