I think these “inquiry” reports are kinda silly. Of course people are gonna inquire about everyone at this point, it’s the GMs job to talk to other GMs, right? I can’t see Doug trading him without a backup in place though cus he’s been clear he doesn’t want a full rebuild. As much as people hate 55, who is gonna play 23 minutes a game and be better than him (in our current org) if we ship him or picks?

So glad to see the amount of fairweather fans we have on this team. Parayko is the only semblance of defense on this team and everyone wants to ship him out for peanuts.
How about we just give him to them, no charge? Bag of pucks? Two cases of premium beer? The most underachieving player, given his natural abilities, I’ve ever seen in 56 years of following NHL hockey.

The Blues have to fix their defending. Parayko, for all his flaws, is the only member of their top four who provides positive defensive value according to both Evolving Hockey and Hockeyviz. I’m not saying the Blues would be fools to trade him, but they already need somebody who can keep the puck away from their own net, and do it at a high level. If they trade Parayko, they would need multiple somebodies who can do that.
