The team has confirmed that Siegenthaler is a *healthy scratch*. Wow.

  2. SergeantTushFinger

What a fucking joke scratching Siegenthaler. That’s insane

👀 Keep an eye on San Jose and NJ tonight. I hear the trade is one-for-one, Meier for Siegenthaler.

Yeah I’m thinking this is for a different purpose other then performance.

Uh oh. Never thought Siegs would be on the trade block

Guy playing top pair minutes. Mostly solid all year. Big surprise. Can’t imagine he would be a trade piece. He’s the defensive ying to Dougie’s yang

Sheesh. I didn’t even see smith on top pair. Shit that’s not gonna be good

Miles Wood staying in the lineup is absolutely incredible. One of the worst players in the NHL this season. His idiotic penalties are met with zero accountability. Lindy really shitting the bed here with this, plus he’s not making any adjustments with our play dipping.

Funny how we sat Siegs for Smith and then Smith doesn’t cut off the pass on the pk to give up a goal love it

Disjointed. Ruff talked about it a few games ago. Hamilton mentioned it. Disjointed so far tonight.

Maybe they need to showcase other guys with a combination of being banged up a bit.

Let Siggy rest for a game or 2 at least, not crazy about Smith going up, but I can see why. Graves/Marino are really familiar with each other, Bahl isn’t ready for 1st line but maybe he gets a few shifts.

Siggy has been working his ass off, he needs a couple games to recalibrate but I hope it doesn’t hurt his confidence. Oh and no way he’s getting traded unless it’s for a crazy haul everyone knows how important he is to this team.

Smith might be ok in a pinch like this sometimes these 6th/7th guys can step up for a couple games unexpectedly.

This is the point where you start to remember the bad parts of having Ruff.

Seigs hasn’t been the stalwart he was earlier in the year but dropping him with Wood in the lineup is a joke. Let someone like Clarke or Foote take his spot.

I don’t understand this. Bastian deserves to play over wood. Even if he doesn’t get many points, he always plays physical, plays good defense and has some big blocks, and really is never a liability and avoids bad mistakes. Also, there is no universe in which playing Bahl over Siegs makes any sense. Siegs could be in a wheelchair and still is better than Bahl, he’s probably the slowest player in the league.
