Boston Bruins Trade Dan Vladar to the Calgary Flames

After signing goalie Linus Ullmark the Boston Bruins trade young goaltender Dan Vladar to the Calgary Flames for a pick. In this video I talk about Vladar’s career with the Bruins, what this trade means for the Bruins, what kind of player the Flames are getting in this deal, and my thoughts on the trade.

  1. Hope this doesn't come back to bite us in the ass. Vladar never really got a shot imp. Hope Swayman is the man. You know one of them (Swayman or Vladar) are going to be elite.

  2. Vladar was good in the AHL, but outside if the great game against the Pens, never had much confidence in him. I do think he can be a back up on a bubble team like Calgary, but won;t ever be a star like Swayman will be. We get a 3rd back in a deep draft and replaces the pick we lost for Reilly.

  3. Unpopular opinion in 3…2…1…

The Bruins should consider seeing what they can get for McAvoy right now. They blew it by getting nothing for Krug. And now that Jones, Hamilton, and Makar are occupying 1/10 of their teams' Salary Cap, McAvoy is poised to soak up even more. Bruins should get what they can now, because he's not worth $10m+ per year.
