Watch as the Ottawa Senators honour former player Chris Neil by retiring his no. 25, followed by a celebratory trip to the penalty box. Neil sits 20th all-time in penalty minutes in NHL history.

Weird how people think only superstars should get numbers retired.
Chris Neil was my favorite Senator, because of his grit and in you're face play.Bravo
As a fan of hockey this was awesome! Typical Maple Laugh fans hating in the comments π€¦ββοΈ make it out of the first round before yβall decide to hate LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO
Sad organization if they're retiring the number of a goon.
That was cool…
My goodness have the Ottawa Senators organization ever sunk low. Theyβve been a sad sack team for years now and this is the best they can do.
Fantastic, couldn't be happier for Neiler!
What a unique way to pay tribute to such a unique player.
Awesome stuff from the Sens
Chris Neil's #25 should not have been retired by any team in any league, given that his major NHL accomplishment was serving over 2500 career penalty minutes.
By the same twisted logic, Milan Lucic's #17 should surely be retired in both Boston and Calgary, given the huge difference in statistical offensive numbers between Lucic (565 career points) and Neil (250 career points).
That's just patently absurd.
Too late now for Ottawa to take back this gaffe.
Next.
Loved the old Sens, had the opportunity to watch them as a kid and Neil was such a badass. Wasn't the biggest guy on the ice but fought the biggest of fights and was a beast!
I. Love. Hockey. This was so touching to see. Congratulations. Chris. Nothing can be said that hasn't been said already.
Not that the sens are a high end, highly respected organization with a rich history but retiring the number of a goon is an odd decision even by their standards.
Definitely an odd jersey to retire but I can see why he was so beloved by the organization even as a habs fan. Congrats Neil.
One of the best toughest guys in the NHL! Amazing tribute!
Love him
Why the duck is this ?
Go sens go!
Cheeky to have them leave through the penalty box. Fitting. π
COLE
This is a joke rightπ π―
WHO? πππ
He did nothing in his career & Ottawa is trash πππ―π―π―
This is the most unorthodox jersey retirement
Man, this is sad, they retire the jersey of a guy with 200 points
πͺ
I got goosebumps. This was amazing
you deserve that Neil so happy to se your number on the top of are stadium
What a Pucking legend! Pucking beauty!
Ottawa needs to trade Chabot. He is brutal this year.
Great heart….
My greatest happiness is the $36,800 weekly profit I get consistently from Sharon Brokerage platform and it's a great opportunity to have key into it.
