surprised, I want someone that wants to win, don't like to lose, Oiler's McDavid commented too many 3rd and fourth and defense are not involved in practice , they think it's a joke, coaches should send them down, healthy scratch etc

Cant say how many times Ive argued with idiots that have said hes a cancer in the dressing room…as if they've ever stepped foot in a hockey dressing room in their life.

I mean Bruce literally has no reason to say any of this. He's not a part of the organization anymore. He could have easily not talked about him at all if he didn't truly feel this way… But he voluntarily praised Miller. So there's that.

Everyone likes to chirp, but there is only one good place and time for team discipline from the team members and thatās the dressing room. I myself, would have appeared like a hot head if you saw me on the bench but in the dressing room I was then nice guy compared to some. The real work is done in the dressing room.
Now ask Bruce who he would rather have, horvat or miller

I love JT. Glad to hear this from Bruce. We've definitely seen some lows from Miller this year, but I'm glad it's not all bad.

Happy they kept Miller and sent Horvat packing. Big mistake slapping the "C" on someone that soft. True colors come out when it's time to sign your next contract as well.

And that's why the majority of Canucks fans are lemmings and pearl clutching old women. They jump on the rumor bandwagon every time and none of them have an original thought in their heads. If you've ever played on a competitive sports team you need passionate guys who want to win at all costs, who push people to be better. Nothing irks a passionate player than apathetic team mates. Captains have to drive the team to be better by pushing them in the locker room. You guys seem to think a calm guy who is great at media interviews makes a great Captain in the room. That's not the case most of the time. Bo was a good Captain, but not a passionate one. You need the C and the As to appeal to different players in the room, but they all have to be passionate about winning. EP40 & JT make a good contrast. We need Demko back and rid of Myers and OEL. They just don't seem to care anymore.

J.T. Miller is a good team player who gets into the game a bit too much too often. That doesn't make him a bad teammate. I think thats what were all thinking hes another Bennington.

J.T. Isn't the worst player and you would see things a LOT LOT differently after you watch RobTalksHockey's video about him.
Hopefully he gets another job quick, didnāt they give Miller a full NTC when his new contract kicks in? Heās ok if heās scoring, but unfortunately his defence is terrible, heās a turnover machine and he gives up on way too many plays way too fast for my liking so you gotta score a lot to make up for all that
at first it seemed like a typical take a big raise and stop trying situation but ive come to agree with bruce over the past month or so. he just seems like a guy who really wants to win and his emotion gets the best of him sometimes. even though id like us to drop as far in the standings as possible its better to have this type of guy on the team than someone like mctavish who seems excited to lose
JT hung him out to dry with his bad attitude lack of back checking and ridiculous urges to coach the other players when things go wrong. Yelling at guys on the bench is what San Jose does, not a winning team.
He may want to win but he āletsā his teammates do all the work for it.
Maybe Miller is the only sane one on the team

Well people always forget there was a split in leadership in the locker room and JT Miller was likely chosen by the players long before management chose him.
