My best guess is it’s some bruising and these are more maintenance than anything then. If he’s already back skating with the team I’m not worried at all.
It’s a long ass season and if post season is on the menu then a few games out here and there will go a long way. Gotta make sure these dudes are ready

Good news. I’m thinking that there is a good chance he’s back for the game in St Louis. I wouldn’t have a problem with the staff being extra cautious and sitting him until either the Pens game or the homestand.
