That’s so fuckin lame man.
Fuck the shootout
This team is more than anemic. Absolutely no offensive.
Fucking dicks almighty. Fuck the refs. But also fuck giving up seven goddamn penalties. Jesus fucking Christ, I’m tilted. And also very fucking glad I didn’t go to the game tonight now.
That was not an ideal way to finish…and good to see we are getting more disciplined with the penalties /s
Holy penalty kill, Batman!
Our only hope is apparently getting to the shootout
Gus looks so fucking good
Boldy flat out needs to play better
Love seeing your best player on the ice, getting held, with a ref standing right there, and nothing being called. Classic nhl.
Hold on let me scroll past all the penalties to get to the comments
Well, we got a point.
All these play makers and we can’t EVER score more than 1 or 2 a night. How do you justify this as a coach?
For how shitty we’ve been playing I’ll take that performance against Florida. Aside from the shitty refing it was a fun game. I like the new lines, still don’t have enough offense. Bring up Walker.
Boldy had a rough game, almost snagged redemption but that save by Bobo was just next-level and it really won them the game. Sucks to lose a winnable one like this, but at least we got a point out of it, Gus was phenomenal until the SO, and the PK was insane. Wish we would have gotten that extra chance for Florida’s embellishment that went uncalled, but you play the hand you’re dealt. We really need to generate more high danger chances on offense, one goal per game is not enough. Some good and some bad in this one for sure.
This team needs a way to score more than 2 goals a game. It is the MAIN thing holding us back from winning.. our defense usually doesn’t allow a blowout.
If we can even get 3 goals in regulation, our record would be sooooooo much better.
2 goals a game no matter how well the defense and goalie play, is not going to win you many games.
Gotta wonder if Gus taking that lick at the end of OT impacted him in shootout.
Still think he’s our #1, though.
Boldy is being presented as the future / a star of the team but just neverrrr capitalizes on opportunities.
Kaprizov played his balls off tonight. Damn did he look good. So did Gus. Everyone else…….
while two points would have been great, one is better than none
On the bright side our PK was amazing today
Team just has no scoring. Yes, we miss Fiala in the worst way. Boldy has 4 goal in his last 21 games. Guerin really hosed that up. Boldy and Fiala had great chemistry.
I don’t even get mad anymore, I just hang my head each time we lose
The Wild now have 0 regulation wins in the past 10 games. Not great.
Gus is a stud right now. Sad we have to send out half the lines that we have right now
Boldy with a single point in the last 6 games is not how you react to signing a 7×7 contract. He has to play better and start capitalizing, there’s no way around that. Kaprizov has been the only forward doing a fucking thing for the most part.
5v5 scoring is a dire problem especially for a team teetering in and out of a playoff spot. Exciting game and great to get a point but the boys gotta start putting some goals up in regulation.
Hopefully Moose and Gus are ok. Going to need Gus at 100% for these games coming down the pipe. Hartman & Middleton with great games tonight!! Boldy needs to breakout of whatever slump he’s in ASAP, he’s supposed to be a key piece of secondary scoring.
LFG!! Hope everyone’s BP & HR are starting to go down. Big showdown Wednesday!!
I like when gaudreau just does a quick wrister instead of trying to get fancy in shootouts. Leave the theatrics to kap and zucc
Call me idiot but I call this a point earned, not a point lost. Offense was barely existing, discipline simply wasn’t there, PP was nowhere to be found and we were on the verge of getting goalied another time. But the defense was solid and Gus was phenomenal. The shootout is always a lottery so there’s no point in complaining about that. The offense needs a spark, we’re not going anywhere scoring 1.4goals/game (our average since ASG break), no matter how good Gus is (are we talking at least some 5th place Vezina votes here and there?).
One goal games aren’t getting us out of the first round.
Boldy’s had like 3 maybe even 4 point blank shots on breakaways the last two games and hasn’t been able to make them let alone get them on net. He needs accuracy practice.
Side note: listening to Billy on Russo’s podcast was really frustrating because he kept saying that the team will tell him what to do and that he wants them to figure it out themselves and on the one hand I get it cuz tbh, with the way we’ve been playing no one would want what trade we’d propose so there’s really no point. But on the other hand at this point, you gotta do SOMETHING because the lack of scoring and level of play IS telling Billy what he needs to do even if it means calling someone up and shaking up the lines. He even admits that he’s a big part of the conversations with Dean about who’s in and who’s out, so the fact that they haven’t done anything substantial is just urrggghh.
7 penalty kills in this game. Do fans needs to start holding up kill signs like they do with pitcher strikeouts in baseball.
2 even strength goals in 4 games. I really hope Guerin is being real about what this team is and isn’t actually going to go after Kane or someone like 1 extra winger is going to change enough to matter.

This team didn’t get the memo that scoring is up league wide.
It’s not like they are a defense first team a la Islanders, they just have 3 lines that can’t produce anything.
I say move EK up to center Kap n Zucc and tell everyone else to get their shit together or be sent down to Iowa.
Regardless of where the team finishes, they’ll be out of the playoffs in 5 games at most.
P.S. Gus is out number one let’s stop lying to ourselves.
Zone entry on the pp needs serious overhaul. The current strategy of dropping it back to the last guy and hoping he can thread the needle while the other four stand on the blue line is the dumbest shit I have ever seen.
Only player on the ice that played well was Gus!!
This team hasn’t won in regulation for 10 games. Not exactly surprising when you can’t score more than 1-2 goals a game
Also, the refusal to bring someone up from Iowa (preferably Walker) is really mind-boggling. I can think of at least 5 roster spots he could take right now. Not saying Walker will magically fix our scoring woes, but you’d have to think he would at least provide a spark. The kid has confidence, and he looked realllly good with Boldy earlier in the season (another player who NEEDS to find his game) Boldy needs skilled, fast linemates that can keep up with him. Walker would do just the trick.
But hey, with this draft class, it might not be the worst thing in the world to sit out a season.
Offense let Gus down tonight.
Surprised my dad with tickets to the game for his 65th birthday. Both of our first game in person.
We had a good time! We’re not the biggest hockey fans, but like to support when we can. Overall, we thought both goalies were great, kind of a sloppy game, Krill was good but tired by the 3rd, and our offense could’ve had 1-2 more goals.
Either way, just glad to have a fun time and catch a game in person.
