  1. I think he did tbh. He was struggling with money ever since he got run out of America over the stupid Mann act shit and so he was fighting in Europe to make money and it wasent as much so he may have been paid to go down but make it be convincing so that “ a white man could hold the title” which is what the wbc wanted at the time so he could have been paid enough to set him up for life if he only took the dive also to me it dosent seem real, his arms are out immediately but then his legs move when he goes out cold but his arms would have only been stuck like that if he had lost consciousness because your body goes ridged but his knees were bent then he straightened them also for someone to get knocked out cold and to be completely unmoving is weird because if he was knocked out their would be nothing stopping him from rolling on his side and people watched but he laid their totally still also his corner waited a few seconds before even rushing over to help i think if it was real they would have rushed over as soon as the fight was stopped

  2. its 103" and it looks like most people are wearing long sleeve shirts

  3. He threw it. He was whipping white folks n fucken they women. Either he was paid off or they threatened him on some level. My guess money… errbody know back then he would have been killed if he took a dive without white folks backing him up. They eem made a law called da Mann Act. Aimed primarily at him. All cuz he was takin they women cross state lines. One of the women he banged killed herself cuz all her people wouldn't have shit to do with her cuz she slept with da heavy weight champion of da world. Look it up. Da man was a beast and he played da white folks was beating them at they own game. Back then jus being black was enough to get u fucked up n da worst way. So jus imagine how much heat was takin fo fucken dem white women… #ripmykingenjoyurrest #jackjohnsontrueamericanhero

  4. Nah he didn't throw the fight. The heat was no joke and if it was a normal 15 round fight, Johnson would've retained

  5. Long fight but Johnson threw the fight. A KO'd fighter, allegedly unconscious, would not have the wherewithal to shade his eyes on the canvas, and with one forearm suspended above his skull, and then pass out a bit later – even in 1915. But there was far more at play here, including politics at the highest level: because of the rampant racism and particular hatred for him in the USA from the powers-that-be because he dated and married a number of white women; he bailed out of the country for 7 years rather than accept jail on trumped-up charges under the 1910 Mann Act. Johnson wanted to go home and that was the deal they gave him was to let the title go as – to them and the world in general – the title of 'heavyweight champion of the world' represented the ultimate status of manhood at the time thus subverted their race theory. Back to the matter: a man KO'd by another heavyweight and outweighed by 60Ib does not genuinely go down in stages and then shade his eyes from the sun before making themselves more comfortable and convincing on the canvas. Johnson was 37 and out of shape but much tougher than that. Four years later Jack Dempsey destroyed Willard in 3 rounds, despite being outweighed by the same 60Ib. Fortunately, J Johnson was finally posthumously pardoned in 2018.
