He's trying to showcase himself to get drafted high in the NHL draft and missing a bunch of games because he doesnt want to look like a "pussy" isn't a good idea. @mjonas10 no, not really. There's always some exceptions like Ovechkin(Russia) Forsberg(Sweden) Tikanen(Fin) but for the most part they're pretty much on the same level all around.

@JefferstChmilst It was his draft year, getting suspended in a short SEL season (30 games) for a 5 game span would have hurt his draft rankings. If you fall out of the top5 in the draft you don't get as big of a rookie contract.
Getting suspended could have costed him millions of dollars in bonuses.
