This might sound odd. But zebras is from New Bedford which is an extremely wealthy area of New York in westchester county and i also grew up in that area. Almost every kid from that area is like Trevor zegras. And I’m not exaggerating, there’s an arrogance that comes with being from there and it’s showing

Don’t get me wrong I think zegres is a skilled and talented player I also think the game needs players that are there to get under the other guys skin and be a pest but with that being said if you’re going to be that type of player you need to answer the call and fight a guy sometimes and we all know how that would go for zegs.

I definitely don't dislike him, he's a highly skilled player but I think at the end of the day he's just young. I think he's still finding his way through situations, which makes sense. Guys have to learn the lines as they come up through the league and I expect nothing less of Zegras. Hell, even take Sid himself. He was a passionate upstart, and of course he was nothing like Zegras, but we've definitely seen Sid mature just like other star players. Him and Ovi have grown mutual respect for each other instead of kindling and old rivalry. Another example for me is also Nathan MacKinnon. He's really matured in how he views the game, and despite still being crazy competitive and witty, he's come to respect some of those losses from a few years ago. I could very much see Zegras doing a similar thing, but I agree with you completely on this. His behavior is just… odd. Plain and simple.
I don't KNOW what this is about, but I have a feeling this might be a really lively personality frustrated by all the losing. And they've been losing pretty bad.

I don't like the Ducks; at all. Love me some Trevor Zegras. He's good for the game and he'll mature as he spends more time in the league. It would expedite the process if the Ducks weren't a bottom-feeding dumpster fire right now but that will hopefully change for them over time.
Pens fan, I tend to like guys like him and would take him on my team anyday of the week but someone is going to get him.
I honestly don't like Zegras but to be honest, I think the social media fame with his Michigan goals and more recently his face plastered on the NHL23 cover has gone to his head. He's barely a second liner on a just a decent team. Unfortunately, he's getting the fame of being a starter on Anaheim because they're so bad.

Why does it come off weird, you mentioned two people Marchand and Tkachuck and they both do similar types of stuff. Is it because of his skill level that he shouldn't do that? If it gets under the other teams skin why not, he's not licking people like Marchand did. And I don't care what you say about Crosby they guy gets worked up over everything no one else on the Pens seemed to be bothered by until until Crosby bumped him. If anyone should of been upset it should be the goalie and he didn't seem to mind. To me it was Crosby making an issue out of nothing, he didn't even fire the puck.

Zegras is a spoiled child that has never been punched in the face before. We all grow up with kids like this in school, who are usually bullies or only start something when they know someone will break it up before anything actually happens.
Having an ego like that does not benefit your team AT ALL.
i've never been a big Sid fan since I am a Rangers fan, however i don't blame him for that. taking a shot after the whistle is a no-go and dangerous.

Sidney is a punk. He is a great hockey player, but he is still a cry baby. So the fact that he bumped another player after the whistle without fighting is typical.
