I like McCabe but that’s too good to pass up. Especially on a rebuilding team
He is a cost efficient (even without money retained) very solid top 4 defenseman with term I would absolutely ask for a first plus more especially if money is retained. If I remember correctly he has been analytically our best player all year, but I have not checked some of the sites in a while so maybe that’s changed. Overall he has really bounced back since last year.
