Might be a bad take and I will get downvoted since this sub loves Robertson. But in 5 years Robertson’s biggest NHL moment in his career will still be a regular season overtime goal in 2022 against his brother and the Dallas Stars
You do this trade every day of the week. Toews on your 3rd line would be broken and what he brings to that Locker room would be super valuable as well as he had led the hawks to 3 cups.

Robertson needs a change of scenery, he can’t develop on this roster. A place like Chicago where he could actually get ice time and make mistakes would be perfect for him.

They have done this numerous times with veteran players,to bring maturity to team. What they need is young guys trying to prove themselves,who want to win and go in the corners,body check,play there hearts out for more ice time and be a team player with a winning attitude.
