I wouldn’t put Skinner’s deal in there for great contracts. The other 3 , absolutely but Skinner is not worth 9. 5-6 is what he should be paid
I mean, it’s cute to poke fun and all, but Cozens took a massive discount entirely on his own accord. Anyone wanting to high five Adams is essentially digging on Cozens. If the kid really wanted $9m+ (which I think he is worth/should have been paid) he could have gotten it. But Cozens, for whatever reason, decided not to fight too hard.
Tage is another story.
Tuch and Skinner were signed by other GMs.
How bright is our future? Wow.
Hopefully, we don’t dip into our pool of youngsters, because I am loving what I am saying from Kulich and Ostlund. When those kids are ready, for those 2 three years while they’re growing eating up top 9 minutes, it reminds me of the Sabres before we had to not resign Briere and Drury. We had a lot of youngsters, mixed with a good set of vets.
In 2-3 years we should be cup contenders regardless of who is in net. And furthermore, this team has the foundation to stay cup contenders for a while.
According to my calculations, we’ll still have about 24-25m to work with next off-season.
Another Dahlin deal down the road, Krebs, Quinn, Power, JJ, as well. 2-3 years from this next off-season. Plus they’re all RFA’s

The best place to save money is goalie. If we pull off what some of these other SC teams have done and get by with a cheap goalie, we’re golden.
With our youth, we don’t even need to bring in flashy signings, but it’s still on the table
