I heard that the cannon sound doesn't actually come from the cannon itself but from a sound system above the arena. So I would assume the boom is louder than it seems 🤣

I've been to many Blue Jackets games. That cannon is the best, you can literally feel it. So awesome.
It is s lot louder than people think. Hearing it through the TV doesn't do it justice. Totally understandable if someone flinches.

I remember I saw the Leafs down in Ohio a few years back, and when the cannon went off (after the anthems?) I def flinched, totally wasn't expecting it. So good lol.
This is one of the reasons why the NHL Rejects channel has taken over and destroyed this channel. Uploading irrelevant and dumb videos like this is why. NHL Rejects would never post some dumb sht like this of a head coach flinching at a goal horn like wtf?
