Had time off to rest and work more with Tochett, seemingly better vibes in practice. But what if they get blown out tonight by a good Devils team? Curious to see how the mood around the team will go the rest of the way, if we’ll again see players looking dejected or apathetic.

If you kept our forward group exactly the same, and swapped our entire defense OTHER THAN Hughes, with another team in the bottom half of the league, could you make a contender?
One of these years I’d love to go to NY to watch the Canucks play the Devils/Rangers/Islanders. It would be even more meaningful now with Bo signed long term for the Isles. This would be a bucket list trip….I’ve been to NY several times but never to watch Canucks hockey.
Really excited for Beauvillier’s first game in a Canucks jersey.
We’re definitely a worse team than we were before the Horvat trade, so I’d expect to see things take a downturn.

Since it looks like Boeser will be the next domino to fall, this is what I hope the trade looks like
3 potential trades:
NJD: Johnsson + 2nd round pick
BUF: Jokiharju + 2nd round pick
PIT: Kapanen + two 2nd round picks (33% retained)
Btw, I predicted the Isles trade to a good certainty. I said 1st round pick + Raty + Odelius. I was looking at more futures, but if they can flip Beau for a 2nd at the deadline either this or next year, that has more or less the same value
