Sabres fan coming here in peace. Saw this today, was kind of shocked by the details. I was one of the (perceived) few Robin Lehner fans way back when, was sad how his time in Buffalo played out but there were lots of other problems here at the time.
Hopefully this is is just BR clickbait, but alarming if true. At least it seems you all have a solid goaltender in Logan Thompson!

Definitely not clickbait. This news broke about three to four weeks ago. Lehner probably would have been the VGKs best goalie this year, if not for the injuries and I hated to see the first article.
We can all just hope that mentally he is okay and hoping that he comes out of this a better man.
With how quiet things were at the end of last year with him not even going on twitter.. I knew something was up. I really hope he’s doing okay, financial issues are hard on anyone let alone someone with previous mental health problems like him, I’m hoping for the best
I love panda, but the dude is very eccentric. Considering he’s probably LTIRetiring, this is tough for him. Hope he figures it all out.
Folks, particularly with this case, I would not trust any media reports. I can promise you that they do not understand what they are reporting on. There is a lot that needs to happen with this case before anyone knows how it will turn out, the parties included.
My first thought when the news broke a few weeks ago is that this is preparation for him retiring due to injury.
