Chychrun. Send Arizona Heinola and a 1st. Chychrun fits the two year window with 2 years left on his deal. If Toews is cheap I'd take him for the third line too.

Listing my take or who would benefit the Jet line up: – Top 6 winger: 1st choice Reinhart, 2nd choice Bertuzzi, 3rd choice Konecny and then Meier – 3rd line winger: 1st choice Barbashev, 2nd choice Domi, 3rd McGinn and then Ritchie – 3rd line centre with winning percentage on faceoffs: 1st choice Nico Sturm, 2nd choice Colton Sissons, 3rd Noel Acciari and 4th choices are O'Reilly or Toews. Based on my checks on the first 3, they currently are on the plus side of 50%, Toews is greater!!!! I know, I'll get challenged on these guys, but I'm looking @ $$$$ -D-Man: like to see something for the right side a Scheen or Bortuzzo or longer term which would involve moving a current roster player for a Gavrikov (LD), Connor Murphy(RD) or even Chychrun(LD)
The Jets definitely need an upgrade for their top 6. Love Wheels but he's probably the odd man out. The team needs a scoring punch. They also need a third line center that can win draws consistently. Maybe Toewes can fill that role, if he can be convinced to come home. And the Jets do need a physical blue line presence that's been missing since the loss of Big Buff.
The Jets have cap space and an overabundance of D-men prospects on their depth chart than they need to use to leverage a good deal.

Dubois won't be traded if does til off-season. Maybe dach/guhle/Hutson/Anderson be part of package coming back. What do you think alot of jets fans been wanting get rid of a guy like pionk,Stanley if they or one left would you rather get depth guy like schenn or Gostisbehere,Murphy,johnson,DeAngelo or long term player like sanheim,provorov,maybe even Schneider in NYR. Romanov? Also for depth fwd Staal Carolina, Tippett or Laughton, higher price konecny? It's been said Tortz likes Sanheim so probably not trading.
Toews going to the Jets would just be for “looks” if you know what I mean? Like homeboy playing for his home team. As you said he’s not really in his prime anymore, so why should the Jets spend the resources on him? If somehow they do get him, he’d be like a luxury item for the team. That would be awesome though to see Toews be a Jet.

Meier will depend on whether Chevy has a solid belief that Dubois will stay or not. Meier will come in and replace Dubois if he leaves.

Honestly if I were going to make a trade it’d for O’reilly and Jess p. Both can be plugged in mid lineup and play a two way game
