I created this video to show that Kirill Kaprizov has become a shootout specialist this season. Kaprizov is currently 7 for 13 in shootouts in his career so far. This season he is 5 for 6 in shootouts. Kaprizov’s quick release and quick hands make it difficult for the goalies to read what he is going to do. Kaprizov has the 3 moves that he all uses in the shootout. He either does a quick wrist shot in the top corner, or does a quick back hand shot. He also uses his skating skill to fake the goalie and then does a quick wrist shot.
