  1. canada is one of the biggest countries i the world with like 36 millions people, we have 9M, so that would just be embarrassing for u if we won more medals than u. you havent won hockey medals for years now. How many medals do u have in floorball or bandy for example. U guys sucks at football. Im sure we gonna win this WJC this year to. gget your head out of your ass

  2. What the fuck is floorball or bandy? We won the last gold medal at the olympics (2010) in hockey? Congrats on winning your 2nd gold medal at the world jr's last year, but we already have 15 of those (your total of all medals at the world jr's). Let me know when the world cares about floorball or bandy, and I will take the time to google it.

  3. Yes, it should have been an interference penalty… game misconduct? Hell no. Same thing happened to Camara… some how if the player gets injured it's an automatic penalty… no way either of these hits would have been even called if the guy wasn't hurt.

  4. Write us about Tournament of the Century – 1998 Winter Olympics 🙂 1st: Czech Rep., 2nd: Russia, 3rd: Finland. Canada without any medal 🙂 with so-called "stars" (Gretzky, Lindros, Yzerman, Bourque, MacInnis, Fleury, Blake, Sakic, Shanahan – just a bunch of clowns) 🙂 Anyway, Gretzky is as Ukrainian (have a look at Wikipedia, where it is :-)).

  5. @Signum Diabolicum lmfaoooo you troll you know nothing, Canada can't ways win, we're top nation always have always will be

  6. Fuck off man! This is no reflection of "CANADIAN HOCKEY" just one guys actions going sour because of a stupidly timed hit. Boone Jenner should have never taken a run at him like that in the offensive zone but at the same time (as an amateur hockey player myself) I try to finish my checks when I commit to them. Its unfortunate it had to happen in such brutal fashion and with an injury. My good friend/team mate had an unfortunate situation with an open ice collision and was knocked unconscious..

  7. …by it. He recieved a letter from the player whom hit him which stated that he was sorry for his actions, that he was serving a suspension for the blow and that whenever he goes to make a hit he will think about form and how vulnerable the player is in the situation. My team mate (being the player that he is) wrote him back saying "he would have hit him in that situation too and not thought twice about it." the reality is this happens anywhere and everywhere not just CANADA!

  8. no but we have a bronze medal, and we have Ibrahimovic, who do u have?
The NHL is the best hockey league and every hockey player wants to get there so is that hard to undersand?
I respect canadian hockeyfans, I really do. They cheered on Sweden last WJC when Canada went out and many cheered a lot when Sweden won so I do not want to continue this discussion. Im out, peace!

  9. LOL That was funny. If you believe any of the drivel you just posted, you're far too stupid to bother with. If it really was a joke, it was a funny one at least.

  10. How can you hate a whole country based on this? you moron. Also, you're just mad because this country is more proficient in hockey than your country will ever be LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL and how did it and up ? 5-1 to usa… fuck you dude… looooossseeer

  11. How can you say that? Hockey is a contact sport. It was a good clean hit on a player who was watching his pass. I don't want to see anyone hurt playing hockey but anyone who has ever played at a high level knows that watching your pass is an excellent way to get hurt. Jenner was finishing his check which is what he was supposed to do. It was a clean hit that was 30 frames (@60 fps=exactly half a second!!) after he released the puck. I would have been embarrassed if he had shied away from it.

  12. Why you crying so much?
Hitting is part of the game, thats why people get hit so much.
Thats why they teach it from a young age, how to hit and how to take one.
Should be banned? No he should not. It was a late hit, plain and simple. He got the 3 game ban he deserved. All played when they are interviewed after a suspect hit say "I thought it was clean". Is this the first hockey game you have watched. Every single player, no matter how dirty says that they thought it was clean.
    Watch more hockey.

  13. ive played 17 years of hockey, i know the rules bud. he hit half a second after he let go of the puck. Thats legal. the problem was the injury, not the it itself, same as Camara later in the tournament.

  14. Hockey is a fast paced hard hitting sport. You either have to be tough as nails or be smart enough to keep your head up so you can get out of the way. Players know when and where risk is involved and should be prepared to take that hit when it comes. Or did your coach tell you "you take the puck with the stick, you dance like ballerina on skates and if guy hit you that ok he won't hit you hard"

  15. It was late. 30 digital frames is 1 second, the NHL uses a standard of .5 seconds, god knows the IIHF wouldn't even tolerate that.

  16. yea, saw that in yhe canadian hockey magazines today. If you´re theory is true , then Edlers tackle on Staal wouldn´t be anything to cry about….

  17. @Jan Rutenborg

So apparently we always aim to take out every key player? Listen up, if this was to happen Canada wouldn't have any medals. Canada comes to play and so does every other team. Everyone has there side and opinion, my opinion of you is that you're honestly worthless. Learn to spell too. Thanks.

  18. I know this is a long time ago, but I am still disgusted with this. There is no reason to put that much into it in an exhibition game in the juniors. Canada as usual.
