FIRST!!!!! LOVE YOU LEGO!
i said it in the beginning, i thought the panthers won the trade and from my viewing it looks like they have. huberdeau is spiraling and not the same player he was in florida. just tough luck
All the talking heads on the radio in Calgary are saying "he is still adjusting, it's a new system, new coach, blah blah blah…."
My rebuttal is how much different can the game of hockey really be between location A and location B.
Calgary fans I am sorry to tell you this but this is Jonathan Huberdau…This is the Jonathan huberdau we have seen these past 9 years except for last year…you wanna know why he was playing out of his mind last year? It is because he was playing for the contract…every other year what u guys are seeing right now is the Jonathan Huberdeau that was playing for the Florida Panthers these past 9 years….so yea this is the actual Jonathan Huberdeau….Also thank u for tkachuck
As an Oilers fan this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy
Bo horvat will be on one of these vids approximately 1 year from now
It's a whole different system. Florida was Hyper Offensively minded, Calgary wants defensive structure, something Huberdeau has never had. It'll take a year or two to adjust.
Got sent to Canada without expecting it to happen. He isn't 100% happy, that's what I think.
I blame Dino Darryl Sutter
Just struggling to play with a bunch of new guys I guess. It’s disappointing but that’s been the flames this year. I’m sure he will bounce back next year, but I would be ecstatic if they didnt cause I’m an oilers fan
Its also the fact that johnny hockey had tkachuck making room for him and sutter just let them go with it
Sometimes a player's value is exaggerated merely by the skill and chemistry of his teammates, coaching/team system and strategies….sometimes it won't translate going to another team.
The trade that made both teams worse…lol
Teams should only trade for players who match the style of play of their head coach.
There is something Calgary could try.Try him as a center not a winger see what happens
i think darryl sutter happened to huberdeau. he's a dinosaur and i think it's time calgary brought in a coach who isn't a baby boomer. oh, no! has calgary acquired their very own OEL-type contract? i think that's what happened to florida as well. i'll bet the GM is wishing he had done the obvious and extended andrew brunnette and kept his roster. all that team needed was a little playoff sandpaper accomplished with a couple of minor trades.
