  1. Kirby Dach has impressed and has really found a role on the team. I bet his confidence is off the charts and he should continue to develop to be a good top 6 center/winger/PP guy who can carry the puck and make plays with size/reach and speed. I like the upside with this kid.

  2. Dach is great ! and will do well for les Habs… as to WHY? Chicago dumped him— they also gave. away DeBrincat…TWO! 41 goal seasons…….Chicago s TANKING and have a good shot at BeDard… they

  3. Dach is a offensive beast and will only get better next year he will get 70 points that’s a fact and at $3.3 million for the next 4 years what a steal I wanna see Slafzilla and Dach play on a line together very big line they will be unstoppable

  4. Caufield isn't worth more than 6.5M per. He isn't a complete player, he can't play the PK and struggles defensively. I think we can all say trading Duchesne for 4+ assets worked out for Colorado, winning the cup. Same would be true for the habs if they can get a similar return for Caufield. You have to weigh the assets you get back.

  5. Now that he has more confidence and he's started to driving to the net and use his size I firmly believe that he can be a 30 goal scorer in the NHL.

  6. Kirby Dach's contract eas a good deal for him too. Their was uncertainty about his injuries and his production and the 4 year deal gave him insurance in case things didn't work out.

  7. I'm delightly surprised to see how physical Dach's plays are. His skills are really impressive, but his toughness is so refreshing to see for MTL.

It's been a while since the Habs had such a combo of a player! 😀

With all the injury related problems he had he has 114 points in 203 games? Man, he should be at the very minimum a 0.75 points per game in the near future. Wich isn't negligible at all… :O

And now that we have very good centers, it will be easier to find a couple more talented wing men. Some will beg to play for MTL, haha

  8. Josh Anderson is the reason, and you people keep pushing a Josh Anderson trade. Big guys push big guys. Mtl has not had a player like Anderson since Lambert. Bouchard, that I can think of. Decent skater, hitter, fighter.

  9. Dach still has lots of physical development ahead of him. He is definitely showing a lot of abilities to be a legitimate top 6 forward and possibly a top 2 centre. As for the pressure in Montréal I think it is really on another level than Toronto. No doubt the Leafs take 2nd place with lots of separation between them and 3rd place but they just don't measure up to the Habs at 1st place. There are more Leafs fans by most accounts, largely due to the larger population in Ontario. Both teams have legions of fans all over Canada. The difference is the cultural significance of the Montréal Canadiens. Geoff Molson told Chris Nilan that 10% of all news reported in Quebec is on the Habs. I doubt he would make that claim without backup and I doubt there is another sports franchises on earth that can claim that if not, very few. The Habs are a symbol of both francophone identity and the multicultural world of Montréal itself.

  10. I've worked with Coach St Louis when he was with The Turcotte Stock handling School at Leddy Park in Burlington VT
I was the Zamboni driver and Marty has always said to use what you know and feel .
