  1. I feel kinda bad for Pulj, he’s a good player and puts in effort, but it just isn’t a match anymore and this team can’t hold on to people for nostalgia. If he’s traded I hope he’s does well there.

  2. I don't see St Louis trading anyone to us after the Kostin fleece lol

  3. JP going will end the saga. He just isn’t a fit. It will be interesting to see if Holland can get another upgrade like Kostin.

  4. The team has to be crazy to trade PLRV before Yamamoto….PLRV has been playing good on 3rd line. Hes a 3rd liner not a top 6. Yama is too small n fragile for the playoffs. Jesse will be more useful!

  5. Sad too see pulji gone but at least then we have money for a deadline acquisition or 2, and some cap space being freed up during the off season with the lucic retained salary being gone.

  6. Stauffer has mentioned Acciari several times. I think that we fans question Holland's judgement way too much. Gosti does not make sense. He's basically Tyson Barrie but shoots left, is a bit younger and has slightly less offensive ability.

  7. If we can get a guy that’ll score 15-20 goals for Jesse we are automatically the scariest team in the league. If Kane can still produce & yams gets back healthy, hopefully with a new addition this team is scary man

  8. Should have traded Pujarvi last summer. Tell him pack his bags. We need big mean Defense.

  9. All this team needs is depth. If they can get a couple 15-20 goal scorers they will be a dangerous team to meet on the playoffs.

  10. pul might be a great player, but he’s useless on the oilers. even if he goes onto become a 50+ goal-scorer for the rest of his career on another team, the oilers gave him more than enough time to adjust and come into his own with them, and he hasn’t done anything but be a salary anchor. hopefully he does better on another team and hopefully the oilers get someone that performs better for them.

  11. Acciari is worth going after, but he's going to cost the Oilers more than Puljujaarvi. The Blues would probably want a prospect or draft picks as well as Puljujaarvi – and this is where I hope that Holland doesn't have to give up too much. Acciari, though, is a valuable rental.

  12. Please lets correct this very long and falsely contrived online narrative, Jesse is a valued part of the Oilers team and is going nowhere, Management and Coaching and Connor and Leon both are in Jesses corner 100%, nothing to see here . For the Record I love seeing playactions developing against the grain when everyone else is looking the opposite direction. In this case its 90+% online chatter saying Jesse is a goner, but Bobs Uruncle says Jesse stays long term .

  13. 1st) it's Noel A-Char-ii 2nd) I've been hearing a combo deal with Barbashev and Mikola coming to Edmonton.

  14. Who the frig wants pul?? My scout GM coach or whoever says we want pul and I’m firing him. LOL sucker born every minute

  15. Nah….keep Jesse…..he has a great back-check that goes unrecognized. Long stick get in the way, In the offensive zone Jesse is no Nugent-Hopkins, Cant stick handle for the culture of being Finnish. But he has a terrific back-end game. And thats all the Oilers really need….keep the puck out of the net. I say keep Jesse…

  16. Oilers are up against the salary cap, they need to send salary out to make upgrades for a deep playoff run. JP's lack of production is more of an issue for a player with his contract. He's getting paid way too much for what he does on the ice. A combination of JP, Yams, Foegele, prospects, and picks are on the table for upgrades. It's money out money in type scenario to upgrade the roster.

  17. I wonder how much Kane and Toews think about what Chicago could get back for a trade for themselves. They could go to edmonton for the playoff run then sign back with chicago and the new player's they get and perhaps connor bedard.
That would be the quickest rebuild ever
