Let it never be forgotten that the Vegas Golden Knights acquired NHL All Star Chandler Stephenson for a fifth round pick.
Good for him! He has a little kiddo too – what a great memory. Hopefully it will remind him that he is, and always will be, an AllStar in our hearts. This should kick off a new point-per-game pace after the break.

Who the fuck even is Chandler Stephenson? He sounds like a low level manager at a small to medium sized credit union. Those big front pearly chompers bursting out of his mouth screaming that he has a great benefits package including orthodontics. Probably goes home to a beautiful wife named Theresa, two thriving sons named Douglas and Peter, and has a spotted Great Dane named Oswald who has a massive dangling set of untrimmed nuts. How you gunna be a 1C on a top NHL team and be named Chandler Stephenson. Might as well be named Dansby Swanson or something. Figure it out bud.

I feel for Kraken fans. Should have been Beniers but guy got injured very recently and won’t be able to make it.
Kind of surprised they didn’t replace him with another Kraken player so every team had representation. Could have gone with McCann.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for Stephenson. It’ll be fun watching him in fastest skater. Just find the situation a little odd.
Sooooo, the number two team in the Western Conference (as of right now) is going to have exactly ZERO representation at the All Star game. That’s nice.
That’s cool and good for him. But man, could the league not go 5 minutes without giving r/hockey another reason to hate us
I love watching Stephenson play when he’s on, but he really hasn’t looked like an all-star this season. So I’m curious how he was selected because we know the league didn’t abide by the popular vote at all.
Stephenson is great… but the Kraken not getting a player in the All Star game feels wrong. Doesn’t feel right having a team with no representation especially when they lead the division.
