  1. He has definitely had his misses. But Marc-Antoine Godin of The Athletic wrote an article saying that Bobrov also had a hand in signing undrafted goalie Georgiev. He also played a role in bringing in Panarin as a UFA. So while he's been Director of Euro Scouting, he's also helped in other areas of the Rangers organization.

  3. Kakko was an obvious pick though. Doesn’t matter if he was their scout or not they would’ve picked him.
