My frustration with Hextall and Sullivan is reaching cartoonish levels, if I'm being honest. If McDavid was available for a 7th Round pick, Hextall would hem and haw until someone else snagged the deal. And even if Hextall made the deal, Sullivan would play him 5 minutes a night until he mastered the PK system.
The Pens’ front office has fully committed to not rebuilding but hasn’t fully committed to winning.
For me, this is the first time in a very long time that I am real concerned about this team making the playoffs. We're in a tough division…This aint the NFL where there are a bunch of crappy teams out there. Even the lesser teams in the NHL can produce good hockey at times. Plus it seems a mystery to the experts as to how to get this ship back on course. I think there needs to be a major shakeup of sorts
What I dont get is how Sullivan doesnt seem to mind having Kappy watch games in the stands, but wont sit Dumo. Kap's issue has always been that he doesnt shoot enough and the puck wont go in for him..He's not a liability out there like Dumo, and he brings positives to the table when he doesnt score. He plays better D than Dumo as a forward, Dumo should sit….
