I feel like it’s going to be harder to reach bottom 3 in the draft than it would be to get into the wildcard spot. Chicago and Columbus are a different breed.

Realistically I think the only team we can pass on the tank is San Jose. We’re a dysfunctional team but the teams below San Jose are legit BAD. Can’t be too upset about this win. Just gotta enjoy this one for what it is.
Another strong two way game from Garland. It’s shitty he didn’t get a point or goal considering he created so many scoring chances and gave us two PPs. I’m happy he has been consistently looking great.

Tough win tonight. Really woulda liked to pick up that L. Heads up tho. We gotta break now, which means it’s time to deal Bo, maybe Boeser, maybe others. February scheddy is decently tough so hopefully we can put a nice losing streak together that really crushes the boys’ spirits as they move into a March with some pretty meaningful must lose games against fellow tanks.

Anybody who was listening to Mikheyev talk through tears about his injury and losing the rest of his season understands just how competitive these guys are, and why you could just never expect players to want to lose games of hockey, ever. I’m sure this comment will piss off a bunch of people but most reasonable people know this is the truth.
