    Good for Zacha. As a Devs fan, I always liked his game, it just wasn’t what the Devils needed. Trade worked beautifully for both sides and I’m glad to see him getting the success he deserves.

    I want pasta to re sign but what's he after I guess is the question if he wants like 12 million can you build a competitive team around that .I think he's worth it compared to others in the league but I look at those teams and they have not won much of anything with high paid players

    I'm not sure about this, while he has been good this season, Zacha had an off year last year and he only has 5 goals this year. He's also notorious for being a maddeningly inconsistent player. But with this I'm sure Pasternak must he staying, no Gm in there right mind would give a middle 6 forward a raise like that and then not have enough cap space to resign there best player, right?

    I feel so bad for Bruce. You can see it in his interview after the game last night. He knows what’s coming Monday morning. It sucks cause it’s not his fault, the players and all 3 goalies have been terrible. Hope Bruce gets another crack in the NHL with another team

    Bruins need to dump McAvoy and quickly. Whatever success he has is a by product of the individuals around him rather than his own merit especially since is what is largely preventing the B's from resigning Pasta.

    Pavel Zacha is playing great this year. He is a plus 10. That's where the focus needs to be more.

    Agree that the Zacha signing for Boston is good for all parties. Zacha does not score as many goals as we'd like, but he's a very good 200 foot player. He can play C and both wings. His career high is 36 points but this year he is on pace for perhaps 50 (?). He seems to fit in well with the other Boston guys, particularly all their various Czechs. His girlfried in from the Boston area. Overall, kind of a no-brainer.

    The best part about rooting for a team like the Canucks is you can celebrate a nice neutral zone transition.
