Chris Kreider Shoulder Injury vs Minnesota Wild!

Chris Kreider took a straight forward shoulder to shoulder check from Wild’s Foligno Tuesday night on a simple dump in and he ended up going to the locker room. He was noticeably in pain in his left arm/shoulder and he did not return.

Gallant did confirm that Lafreniere will play in Kreider’s spot on the top line Thursday againts the Dallas Stars as Kreider is out and his injury is considered “Day to Day”.

Kreider has appeared in 42 games this season and has put up 30 points. 19 Goals and 11 Assists while playing an average of 20 minutes a game. One could only hope Lafreniere can make the most of the minutes bump, and the power play opportunity unless Kakko will take the place on the powerplay.
