  1. NICE HAT!!!! I agree don't think it should have been a suspention. I feel like there have been a lot of suspentions this year

  2. Wow also can you do more nahl videos like rating mascots and jerseys if you do thanks if you don't that ok

  3. I think maybe player safety confused Forsberg with Emelin, because that was not the suspension worthy hit. It doesnt help that it's an original 6 team they get almost as much protection as the Pens. A fine woulda been enough, max 1 game because his elbow did come up.

  4. I think player's safety is having too much fun with suspensions or fines for first time offenders. It's ridiculous, and even TJ Oshie said that they need more consistency after he got fined 5,000 for cross checking. And he had never been fined before that, ever. He even got upset because of the hit he received from Thornton causing him to get a concussion, and Thornton wasn't penalized at all. And he gets fined for a hit against Letang, and it wasn't a dirty hit. It was across the trapezius muscle, no ill intent was there and Letang threw hits against him. No fine for Letang (but it also shows how biased Pittsburgh refs are).

For this one, I didn't see the game. But Forsberg like Oshie is also a first time offender, like he had never done anything intentional or deemed intentional before the hit and both had never been disciplined before either. I'd love to hear what Forsberg has to say about this. 3 games seems a bit much for Forsberg though. I don't understand why so many if it's for a first time disciplinary infraction.

  5. I love this youtube channel but did you even watch the hit? That is the definition of interference. Vesey didn't have the puck for 5 seconds before foresberg hit him and he looked right at him as he did. It should be more than 3 games

  6. DOPS is a joke. I agree this is not a suspendanle hit let alone 3 games. Emelin hit was probably worse but still not suspendable.

  7. Grandpa's too stuck int the past. Head shots aren't acceptable anymore. He used Scott Stevens as a comparison to the Forsberg hit. He also doesn't even know what teams are playing. While junior over here said in the beginning there shouldn't have been a suspension for Emelin, but later said the hit was straight to the head. These idiots don't know what they're talking about.

  8. As a Preds fan, we also have some bad blood towards Vesey so I don't know if that played a part in the decision for the league

  9. Do you guys like lacrosse and the nll, you should do a video on it, allot of NHL teams own nll teams

  10. I don’t know if it was suspension worthy sense he couldn’t even see him but… fans get butthurt and people get suspended. Preds will bounce through it. Go Smashville!

  11. If you watch the infamous hit by Subban on Marchand back in 2013 and you can confidently say it was a clean hockey play (as I'm sure literally everyone will) but you can't see how similar the forsberg hit was to it then there really isn't much room for conversation. Marchand had to leave the ice until he could find his nuggets after that hit. Vesey had some blood on him but realistically he got hit in the face. If you're going to complain that being hit in the face is reason for some kind of reaction, should you not argue the same every time someone gets hit in the face with a puck? I mean its an intentional act as part of the game. Guys should be more careful where and when they shoot the puck knowing there are opposing players down the ice. After all, hitting someone in the head with a puck could end their career. <eyeroll>

  12. The Forsberg hit looked pretty innocuous. I disagree with you guys about the Emelin hit. Emelin's feet left the ice so that he could hit Staal with leverage and made initial the contact with his head. By the NHL's own guidelines and historical precedent for smashing a player into the boards that should be a suspendable offense.

Emelin should have been suspended 1 game, Forsberg given a slap on the wrist like you guys said and warned not to use his elbow, but it looked to me like Forsberg was not trying to do that.

  13. The hit wasn't that bad, just had bad result. Looked like Forsberg was trying to throw hip check and let up last second, then he connected with elbow.

  14. Are I kidding there was actually a suspension for that. I 100% agree that there should be no suspension and that they should of had a talk and no fine, maybe a penalty but that is it. I do not understand why he got a 3 game suspension

  15. I'm a Rangers fan but I have a little against this suspension, the hit on Staal should have at least been a minor, and the hit on Jimmy Vesey I get that his head could have hit the ice and or the bottom bar of the net, but Forsberg should have gotten a major or out for the rest of the game. 3 games is a little to much for just a little blood.

  16. Ridiculous call! And its hurt the team. They lost those 3 games, and haven't looked the same since.
