watched the last match as I am a huge fan of the Nature Boy. Training with Adian Street, he showed us a video with Ric against Kerry von Eric and was blown away by how Ric controlled the audience. That Ric is a god, the last match was and insult to that god..

Shane would know all about wrestling way after his prime since he had people chanting for a refund at his Extreme Reunion match and had to promise not to continue as an in-ring talent afterwards to try and save the promotion.
2 ways of looking at Ric Flair's last match. It wasn't good BUT Ric Flair made more money from that 1 match than Shane Douglas probably made in his whole wrestling career.

Ok people, lets keep it real, Now Ric Flair was 73 in this match, and anytime I have ever watched him at a live event, he never let the audience down. With that said, I challenge any fan, any wrestler to make it to that age, and do 10% as good, and only a TRUE Ric Flair fan can respect the fact that he has done it all. Amazing how unself aware Ric is… I can still do 500 squats I was just dehydrated etc. The match was APPALLING… Absolutely terrible, sad he made this nonsense his last match (spurred on by Conrad no doubt) rather than the masterpiece with Shawn. Just sad.

His “last match” was like a sequel to “Weekend at Bernie’s.” They were caring a corpse throughout the match….
Never really got into Shane Douglas as a wrestler, too much NWA/WCW and WWF, but he is a really interesting person to listen to. He has the knowledge of Cornette with out the abrasiveness he sometimes puts out.
Whoever approved the match should lose their license
