if its true he got treated in a bad way, even if u give it your all you can prolly just play at a 70% as the other 30 goes to keeping yourself alive so to speak. and yea he can mutaly terminate the contract . He got paid $6m a year and is the highest paid forward in the team or the whole team. Did he score and play like a $6m player? Say you got injuried in the first year, what about 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th year? Dude, Loui was well paid to play like a $6m player.

What's tough was watching that dead weight eat up so much salary cap for so long. I've watched most of the televised games for over 20 yrs and I can't think of a game where he looked like he was playing with any heart sacrificing all to will a win at any cost like the elite players do. Played like he was on his retirement contract.
He got a huge contract and a chance to play with the Sedins and he didn’t even measure up to them at the end of their careers. He played himself off a line with those guys and then off the entire lineup. The Canucks aren’t the early 2000s Rangers. It’s about performance. And would I love to sit around on the taxi squad for $6 million? Who wouldn’t? Well, apparently Eriksson. And it’s his own fault. He got plenty of chances, including playing with Bo. I’d love to be “abused” with $6 million.

wow…. Louie is a flop and was dumped! If there was any real potential with LE, he would have been an asset to be traded. No takers for a reason…. Swedish media. He was given EVERY opportunity to play with some of the top offensive SWEDISH players in the world and blew it.
