What a game. Classic Hockey, i liked it. Sabres lost but they played so good with their young players. They look finally like a team, even if they wont make the Playoffs, i think this is gonna be the best season they have in the last 10 years.
Buffalo might have lost, but playing against the Oilers the night before, winning, and then having to play Toronto isn't an easy task. They looked really good besides for the one costly give away in the zone…
The winning goal by Morgin Riley acted like the magical Kennedy bullet! The way it came off the crossbar no way should have it been able to reverse direction and jump back the other way into the net.
Sabres don't look flat this year. The team actually looks like they're building and heading in the right direction. It makes ya wonder what Eichel was like in the locker room because without him they look great.
Anybody making negative comments about Rick Jeanneret……shame on you especially Leaf fans who wish they had a commentator like him….your best announcer can only yell "holy Mackinaw" after every big play. RJ is the best sports play by play guy ever….when I was a teen they would only play him on the radio and we would lower the T.V. and listen to him on the radio, I will give you he is past his prime as age has caught up with him but give him the respect he deserves he is a living legend and by far the best play by play commentator that I have ever heard in sports. Thankyou RJ for your dedication and service….I for one will tear up when you call your last Sabres Game!!!!
