San Jose Sharks Blow Another Third Period Lead, This Time To The New Jersey Devils In A 4-3 Shootout

The San Jose Sharks blew another lead, this time with 10 seconds left in the third period to the New Jersey Devils as they would go on to eventually lose in a shootout 4-3. Is this a system or talent issue, or just a long road toward greener pastures? Plus a look at how the Timo Meier, Tomas Hertl, and Mikey Eyssimont line dominated against a good Devils team, Kevin Labanc is in the doghouse again, and Noah Gregor is who Noah Gregor is. Finally, James Reimer has started to round back into form and the defensive pairings were solid, not spectacular against the Devils.

  1. Important question…does James Reimer ever reach 200 wins, or will he retire at 199?

What I'm honestly thinking as possibly our max return for him is if we trade him along with the likely late Canes' third rounder we got in the Burns trade to get a second round pick (also presumably fairly late since it'll be a playoff team or a team that is pushing for the playoffs).
