as another example of how they use the hat, against Chicago mccann had a Hattie and obviously got 1st star. (other two stars were Beniers and Wennberg)
but they didn’t give the hat to mccann like you’d expect for just a generic “best game” award
they gave it to jordan eberle to celebrate his 900th game
