Bruins' Taylor Hall Fined For Punching Maple Leafs' Ilya Lyubushkin



Boston Bruins winger Taylor Hall was fined $5,000 after punching Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin on Tuesday night.

    That wasn't even close to a punch. What the other guy did was worse. Taylor was just giving him a facial massage. That's not worth a fine.

    This is why I find it so funny when the Bruins complain about the officiating. They skate with 4 extra players in black and white stripes through every playoff round.

    Not to mention it but the announcers from Boston were so damn bias saying it wasn't nearly as big a deal as it was but knowing damn well if that was a Boston guy who got a cheap shot from behind it be a big deal

    5k is not enough of a punishment when you make 6 and 7 figures

    Both teams have biases fans, I don't like either team. That probably shouldn't even been a fine, but he went down like a sack of potato's so he got the fine. Leaf fans are just pissed because Matthews got suspended for a cross check to the neck/ chin area of Dahlin which was way worse than that. A gloved hand verse a multiple cross checks to the head area isn't even in the same category. Matthews could've hurt someone he's a big guy who can put a lot of force into a cross check like that. Hall hit him with a gloved hand and it was one time. Its a shame he was injured but you see guys giving others a shot here and there all the time. Usually its PP and no harm done. Passionate hockey fans have blinders on so they just see what they wanna see

    Did no one see the hit from behind on Hall that sent him headfirst into the boards? That was a dangerous hit that the refs should have called. The only mistake Hall made was bitch slapping the Leaf player! He should have bitch slapped the ref
