So funny that Jason and Jeff didn't know the race actually started. Thinking the parade lap was going on. I remember being at this race, it poured rain for the whole day. The racing and the track were really good even with so much rain. Love the "Wick". Thanks for the video.
Ok, I've been following racing for like 20 years, and after watching this back, I DO NOT remember anything about the parade lap being also a qualifying race for gate pick. I mean, did I miss something here? Are Weege and Emig just having diarrhea of the mouth? Stroke? I don't know.
Dungey had some questionable mechanical issues with his 2011 bike. Makes me wonder if Suzuki was doing what they could to get out of paying championship bonuses. He would have won the SX title and the MX title if he didn't have bike problems. Also remember that Mike Gosselar was on his team and his bikes are always tip-top. I can't think of another time when Goose's bikes failed.
I don't understand how the announcers didn't realize the race has started. The riders were clearly riding at 100% which they wouldn't do in a parade lap.
Of all races I wish I could’ve seen in person, even the mud fest that one year at Daytona when Chad blew up his bike turns from the finish… this is the one I’d love to watch.
HA….So those here in 2022…that podium interview kinda explains a bit of respect we need. Much respect for this one. Imagine being a rider, a team, his girlfriend's IG friend! lol. Much respect and unforgettable.

Dungey didn't get anywhere near as much tv time as he should've with that kind of performance.
