  1. He's gonna get support this season. Defense and puck moving – check. Scoring Goal Support – check. PK will be improved as well. Looking fwd to another season. P.S. I don't think Thatcher will take Markstrom's job.

  2. with a better defense and the core a year older i think we can make playoffs and maybe steal a game or two

  3. Markstrom was voted MVP by the fans over Pettersson. We love Petey. That tells you how good he was last year. Here’s to another incredible season by Marky!

  4. I think he had a .921 in the last 40 games this season. Pretty good on a team with the defence Vancouver had last year.

  5. Wanna know something odd? I'm a Bruins fan, but my favorite Canadian teams are the Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers. With the goaltending duo of Markstrom and Demko, this team could be scary even with a weaker than average defense.

  6. Very underrated goalie, he saved the Canucks so badly last year and basically was the defense

  7. Honestly, I’d confidently put these saves up against any other goalie from this season

  8. He legitimately looked like an elite NHL goalie last year. Luckily, Hutton Pouliott and Gudbranson are all gone this year, and they combined for the majority of these chances created against Marky.

  9. Loved watching him at home from Utica with the comets and awesome to see him still making moves

  10. thank you for posting this. markstom deserves a ton of credit for getting the canucks sorta close to the playoffs last year

  11. Promising goaltender. Interestingly, he is basically the only piece of the Luongo trade still active at the NHL level.
