Cool, seeing Husso down there gives me another advanced stat to not care about.
If the team in front of the goalie plays bad, they have bad stats. It happened to Ned several times, it’s happened to Husso several times. Neither of them are bad goaltenders and we should have just avoided this drama and begged the skaters to play better hockey.

I didn’t realize our team GA is worse than last year, we are scoring more which is encouraging. I don’t think it’s at the cost of our defense I think it’s more when the teams hemming us in our zone we let in more goals.
Is there a stat that says how many rush goals we have let in and how many breakdowns in the d zone. I mean probably not I’m just curious.

Husso’s per 60 isn’t nearly as bad as the rest of the list. Ned’s is an absolutely horrific second-worst

As I understand it I think the stat keeping goals saved above expected is based on can be a little subjective since it doesn’t seem to factor in the skill of the shooter. A shot from a low danger area like the periphery by good goalscorers is just as dangerous as a chance from the slot from a less talented player, especially if it leads to a second or third scoring chance. Personally I think Husso has played better than his stats indicate.
