Excuse me Joe but "Nancy Drew" Stafford was never even good, let alone pretty good. Always overpaid and only showed up in the final few games of a season, when he was angling for another bloated contract. I cannot trust you based on that claim alone
I'm not paying $6.5 for a 3rd pair blue liner, sorry. I'm definitely looking to fix that pair cuz it's a glaring weak link, and should be easier, cheaper, and more effective to solve than a top-flight goalie. Chychrun would make our top 4 elite, best in the League, and would let Joker hang out with Boosh. Then pick up another solid defensive defenseman and we're set. Or, pick up two defensive defensemen for total $4 and solve the blue line problems, won't be "super elite" as Chychrun would be but we already have 3 elites or "they will be elite when they grow up" in Dahlin Samuelsson and Power. But not $6.5 for Provolov, sorry, too expensive and too little
Hey Joe yeah def didnt like that line combo with Dylan. Id rather have Krebs move up to play with dylan and Vinny. Ill welcome any Trade involving an actual NHL caliber decent sized Dman. So Ivan Provorov and 4th rd pick for Rasmus Asplund Jacob Bryson and a 2nd rd 2023 pick. Id rather have Chykrun since hes better and Costs less but we have the Cap and im ok as long as we improve that 3rd pair. U can dangle around with pairings.

What could u get for Comrie? I know Anderson will probably retire. But that would be a bold move riding with UPL and getting an asset for Comrie – teams would be interested. Figure out goalie 2 next year
If Ryan Johnson doesn't sign won't they have 5 – 2nd round picks in two years with the added compensatory? I wouldn't mind seeing a 2nd leave to shore up the 3rd pair. Hell right now I'd like to sign Johnson and tell him he has Bryson spot. But a move that involves sending picks and prospects (not named Kulich or Savoie) and either Olofsson or Mittelstadt should be looked at to sure up the blue line or add a hard forechecking power forward for the 3rd line. I'd love a Tanner Jeannot trade from Nashville. Low risk high reward.
