I think the hate for Shannon has been a bit overblown. I don’t blame him for being pessimistic after the terrible December Seattle had. Now that Seattle is looking better, I would expect him to put Seattle in the top 10 again.

His point that Gourde, Eberle, and Wennberg could have more productive second halves goal scoring wise makes me excited.

I really like his analysis, I think this is a pretty fair assessment of our team at this point in the season.

I’ve had no issue with his coverage of the team this year. People rightfully were skeptical of the first win streak, and though we certainly didn’t fall all the way off, we did display A LOT of the same behaviors as last year for a decent stretch. That said – we better see quite the leap in his rankings this weekend, lol.
The response to “rock bottom” with finally getting our butts totally whooped 7-2 by Edmonton has been amazing though. Everyone from the top down heard that bell and came out swinging. Even the “stumbles” during this win streak have been an 8-goal performance and a 4-3 win over a young, big, motivated, and talented Buffalo squad in their house on the ass end of a road back-to-back.

I’m just glad ( knock on wood) the Defense seems to have improved the past couple of weeks
