EAGLES WIN BIG!!! Screaming Eagles shutout and dominate the Hub City Showcase champions Halifax Mooseheads 4-0 tonight at County Arena. The games 1st star Logan O’Neil sniped the game winner (video above – Eagles snapchat) and added another late in the game. Russian forward Vasily Glotov made a great first impression on Eagles fans firing in a goal and adding a helper, while 19 year-old Yannick Bertrand added one to round out the scoring. Goaltenders Kevin Mandolese and Colten Ellis were solid between the pipes in the shutout victory. Mandolese started the game and made 24 saves, while Ellis secured the shutout making 10 saves. The Screaming Eagles will return home for their final home pre-season game on Sat. Sept. 17th at the Emera Centre Northside.
