For everyone not getting why this was a suspension, this play is kind of similar to the Haley-Jankrok incident a few weeks ago which resulted in a suspension.
Ritchie gets 2 for this and Crosby spears O'Reilly in the balls and gets nothing… The fact that Pens fans try to make excuses for that to is more sickening.
The NHL is an absolute joke. How the heck does he get 2 games for this while Haley only got 1 game for a much worse sucker punch against Nashville just a few weeks ago. They don't even try to hide their Chicago bias anymore

Yeah I'm definitely getting old and out of touch with the new way the NHL works. I just don't see why anyone would just let someone else punch them in the face. You know they're mad, and you know why, but you're just going to let them kick your ass and hope they get a penalty? That's so weak it's disturbing. Same with those guys who turn into the boards when they know they're about to get checked.

Rozsival's career was basically ended by this hit. Just goes to show that we shouldn't judge a suspension by a couple angles on a short video.
