The Penguins have been fortunate enough to compete in a number of outdoor games, including the inaugural Winter Classic in Buffalo.
At Fenway Park, the site of the 2023 Winter Clasic, Colby Armstrong (aka the first person to score a Winter Classic goal and the person to score the fastest Winter Classic goal) sits down to discuss the history of the Penguins in outdoor games.
Playing hockey at Fenway was not a new experience for every member of the Penguins: Bryan Rust played in Fenway Park when he was at Notre Dame, Jeff Carter played there when he was with the Philadelphia Flyers.
From the memorable first outing in Buffalo through stadiums all throughout North America, outdoor games have not been short on magic.

Glad I’ve been able to go to 3 of their outdoor games now <3
