In October, the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni visited Wiikwemkoong First Nation & Taykwa Tagmou First Nation for two games and to spend time with the communities.

  1. I set up seating for a rodeo they had here back in the day. Very nice community. Everyone was helping us do our work which we were being paid for just because they wanted to help. I had never seen that happen anywhere else we had set up. I remember Louis who was in charge of things at the time. One of the nicest and wisest people I've met

  2. That was nice to see. These ex pro hockey players paying back. All they had to do is what they do best. Have heart and soul. I hope it continues.
